WBA Education - focused on Wisconsin Bankers

The WBA Education Department continues to set the standard for providing timely, high quality education specifically designed for our membership.  Our programs leverage the talents of experts in the field of banking and focus on hot legislative and regulatory trends for the economic and business climate in our state.  We bring ease of use to members with our many webinars, phone seminars and online courses while still providing valuable networking opportunities with our conferences, schools, seminars and workshops.

Conferences

Speaker Tucker Carlson at the WBA Bank Executives Conference
Conferences offer the best overall experience for attendees. These educational events have a theme, such as agriculture, technology or security, and address multiple topics with multiple speakers. Typically, a conference is 1½ to 2 days of content with the added bonus of networking opportunities with your peers.

Schools
Schools are specifically designed to address all aspects of one topic. These intense courses led by industry experts cover a wide range of topics including agricultural banking, lending, compliance and credit. Schools, which are typically 3 – 5 days in length, are the best option for turning a new employee into an expert in their field or broadening the experience of your most seasoned veteran.

Seminars
Need in-depth information on a particular topic? A WBA seminar is the solution to your problem. These one day programs focus solely on a single topic and are taught by industry experts. While each program addresses a single topic, there are a multitude of topics to choose from. Available courses touch every aspect of your bank.

Workshops
If you miss one workshop, you will always have the opportunity to attend another. Workshops address a single topic, but are held on multiple days at multiple locations to provide bankers with additional opportunities to attend. These events will typically be half or full day learning sessions.
